A starry stroll down mercy Lane
To find a corridor
To toss the day from my head
And dam these swelling seas
That lie awake
Crashing
A soothing breeze
Through a house fire
I'm burning
Constrict / Dilate
Shoulder the unbearable weight
Look around, who's to blame
For this grating bell toll
That wakes you from
Dreams of life fulfilled
Fall back
In the swamps of self
A stagnant soul
The pain of hope
At once annulled away
Constrict / Dilate
Shoulder the unbearable weight
Contract / Extend
Fracture and mend
A shallow body to drown
No more room
No more hope
No more breath
No more life

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
